You can cook ground beef the same you would cook ground turkey. So cook it the same amount of time. It turns a medium brown and no parts of it are pink.

SAME AMOUNT OF TIME
GOOD
Thank you. I’ll keep an eye out for the color to turn medium brown then because I’ve literally never touched ground beef that wasn’t cooked.

It’s pretty easy to fry up in a frying pan, literally just plop it on the pan and use a spatula/wooden spoon to break up the meat and move it around. It will be a brown that is about the color of chocolate when it’s done.

Ah thanks!
Ground turkey is like a grayish color when it’s done so that’s good to know. Thanks again :)
It's all fun and games: Religulous
I just had to stop watching Religulous, the documentary/comedy/whatever by Bill Maher.
Lacking comparison, it’s probably not too bad a movie for a ‘new’ atheist to see, mainly because there’s a guy standing up and saying ‘you’re not alone, you’re not ridiculous, you’re not a bad person’. And at…
Oh yes yes
I watches the documentary all the way through and it only get worse.
But he literally just goes, OH THAT’S WHAT YOU THINK
YOU’RE SUCH A DUMBASS
YOU DON’T REALLY BELIEVE THAT RIGHT
BECAUSE IF YOU DO YOURE STUPID AS FUCK.
He’s incredibly rude. If you have netlfix I suggest watching ‘The God Who Wasn’t There’ which is more tactful and incredibly informative. Literally moved me to tears with information. It’s beautifully done as far as I’m concerned.

Question for those of you who cook
I currently live in a no-red-meat home, so we never have pork or beef in the house. We eat a lot of ground turkey and a lot of chicken and fish instead.
My problem is that I’m moving out soon and I know ground turkey is generally more expensive than ground beef. I’d like to limit my beef consumption- both because of health reasons and because I don’t like beef much- but simply don’t know how to prepare ground beef because I’ve only worked with turkey.
Let’s not even get into pork- I have no clue how to cook that shit o.O Or even what…forms it comes in.
Do any of you who’ve used turkey AND beef have tips for cooking ground beef? Like, what color it is when it’s done, or if it takes longer or shorter to cook?
I can’t wait until I move out
because I just won’t be buying shitty food that are going to trigger a binge.
All fruits and veggies and meats I know how to cook.
So excited for teh healthier foods.
I just hope I can afford it! There are tons of effective food deserts in Chicago, and if I end up living in one the cost of transportation to a legit grocery store will be a huge add-on to the base cost of food.
We’ll see where I end up XD
